ABOUT US

Ever since becoming a mum, especially having had a daughter first, I became obsessed with dressing my little girl and finding pretty designs and outfits, even for everyday play. I struggled to find anything that didn’t have logos all over them with pictures/characters or bright in-your-face colours. As you can probably see by my taste (my website), I loveeee neutral earthy natural colours that are simple but make a statement.

My lovely mum, who is also my best friend, has the same taste as me when it comes to kids' clothing; she’s worked in kids' factories making clothes for years, so she understands the ins and outs and what works and doesn’t. So, it was a no-brainer, really, to get together and make our favourite pieces. For the past four years, we have been on the lookout for the perfect little outfits for our Penelope, who is four, and now our little boy Hugo, who is two.  Both are modeling in our up-to-date pictures.

My mum will be handcrafting these special pieces on a made-to-order basis. We don’t have anything in stock, so every piece is literally made with love and attention to detail. We’re so passionate about this and are over the moon we decided to take the plunge and make our dream come true.

We’re a very small business; it’s just the two of us. Setting up London Baby has been full of blood, sweat, and tears (literally, haha), but worth every minute of it because there isn’t a better feeling than seeing a sweet little bubba/toddler wearing one of ours and, of course, absolutely rocking it.
